There are several ways that local businesses may advertise and promote their business via the websites of the Digital Dominion website.

First, you must be a registered user of the website you wish to promote your website on.

You may then register as under the local business directory feature, and if desired, become a "Link Partner" - a status which gives your directory listing a higher ranking for visibility and appearance. Participation in the Link Partner program also serves to boost your visibility under most search engines, since number of cross links on other websites is an important criteria used by most popular search engines in determining ranking and orrder of appearance in search results.

You may also contact us to purchase logo advertising display ads which will appear in the (at your option) left, center, or right column of every page of the website. This program is currently undergoing testing and during this phase is available at no cost for program test participants. If you wish to participate as a trial participant, please contact us.

There are several ways that users may use to write a regular column or feature on the Digital Dominion network.

First, you must be a registered user of the particular website that you wish to write for.

Second, any registered user may use the "News & Announcements from the Community" feature to submit and post an article, news or annoucements. These posting are unmoderated and may be done by you at your own discretion and timing. These posting are not, however, capable of generating ad revenue for you or your organization, and are not, at present, availible for syndication via RSS feeds.

The most advanced means for you to write a regular column or feature is to contact us and submit a proposal to write a regular column or feature under the "Articles, News and Announcements" feature. You should provide us with the proposed topic, a proposed title, the websites on which you wish to write, and the proposed regularity of publication. Please also provide basic contact information about yourself (name, telephone, email, postal address), your organization (if you are writing for one), and ideally a sample of a proposed article or writing. If you have a image that you would like to use or have associated with the regular column or feature, please also provide this in digital format (we will adjust the size and format to fit our software requirments). Once we review and approve your proposal, we can create your column or feature as a seperate "topic" under the "Article, News and Announcements" feature of the website desired, and will then grant you special privileges to access and post under that topic. Once created, you will have the ability to post your writings on a schedule that you determine, and you will have the optional ability to insert, via "code" images and links to advertising that you sell to sponsors, local businesses or others in your community and thus raise funds for your organization or gain profit for yourself. Your topic will also be available for syndication via RSS feed, thus others may subscribe to and syndicate your article or column (including your ads) on their websites or personal computer news feed readers.
